Went to jump start due to a low battery. Realized I reversed the pos. & neg. but only after trying to jump. It blew several fuses including the large 50amp. Now it turns over fine but won't start when the engine is very cold. Park it in a warm garage & she fires up fine however, continues to blow the 50amp fuse when the electrical sys. is put under a demanding load. What could it be?

the start of many issues. crossing the cables puts a voltage surge out that computers and modules hate. you need to have the entire system checked for burned, melted connectors, bad modules/computers. keep your fingers crossed it is not the beginning of a long expensive repair
