Why is my radio not turning on and how can I fix it?

My 95 Grand Cherokee Laredo-the radio stopped working. At first the antenna would always go up, but the music would go on and off as it pleased. Then the antenna stopped going up entirely and music never plays. I've checked all the fuses; I'm not big on the radio/sound system and I'm not sure where to even start.

You gonna have to take it in and have it further checked by a car stereo shop-
