42re transmission stuck in limp mode and not giving codes already put in new govenor solenoid. still in limp mode. any ideas?

you need apro type scanner to get codes from this if it's one at an auto parts then it won't pick up trans codes. have a trans guy look at it before you waste more money on hit and miss fixes.
