Car won't drive

Car runs but when give gas does not do anything won't even rev up engine it does nothing when first start will drive for few feet then nothing, the brakes will also get real stiff
Does not seem like transmission

Make sure pedal linkage is operating throttle under hood.

Stiff brakes means booster is loosing vacuum. Check vacuum line. Booster may be leaking internally also. Of course if engine is not running right, this will cause some loss of vacuum.
