Hi I have just had to replace my top - due to storm damage ! Be very careful when buying - There are 2 qualities, one is as original
the other is slightly more modern material. Normally you do not have to replace the lining it's separate from the top.
If you are going to fit it yourself - Good luck ! If you buy the roof from importer you will be lucky to find somebody to fit it -they want the extra profit ! Seriously I have spoken to 5 'fitters' of the soft top & everyone refused as they could not offer a warranty afterwards for a product not supplied by them.
I am based in France & spoke to all the Jaguar concessionares & SNG Barratt(specialists in jag spares) none could offer to supply.
If you are not doing it yourself, look for a company that specialises leather re-upholstery etc company. I am awaiting the return of my XJS with new roof & lining with great expectations.
