locking not working

l have a problem with my central locking and alarm system with my xjr jaguar central locking is not working but the light on the central locking button flashes repeatedly but will not lock key fob doesn't work neither does the alarm evening when you manual. l have a problem with my central locking and alarm system.

Do you hear any audible notifications from the alarm horn? Can you hear the door lock solenoids activating?
