Where is the fuel filter ?

Relieve fuel system pressure as described under "Precautions, Fuel System Pressure Relief".
Disconnect battery ground cable.
Drain fuel tank into a gasoline container.
Raise and support rear of vehicle.
Disconnect and remove fuel tank to filter hose "P" clip to body securing screw, (1), Fig.21 .
Remove fuel filter clamp from rubber mount.
Loosen fuel tank to filter hose union nut at filter, (2), Fig. 21 .
Reposition hose from filter, then remove seal from end of hose.
Plug hose and filter, then loosen underfloor pipe to filter union nut at filter (3).
Remove fuel filter from underfloor pipe.
Remove fuel filter.
Reverse procedure to install.

The Fuel Filter is located along the frame rail, next to the fuel tank, and near the driver side rear wheel.
