speedometer not working

Neither the speedometer nor the odometer are working no matter if i am keeping pace with traffic or not. i need to know how i can fix this so i do not have to worry about someone going too fast.

It sounds like the speedo cable or vehicle speed sensor has broken which is common. Remove it from the transmission as see if you can turn it?

Yep, the sensor was bad it is located near right rear of the transmission. easy to replace.
