I have a 95 Isuzu Trooper 4wd 5 sp. I think it is a v6. I have no problems at during the winter but during the summer months It will start to overheat after about 20 min. of driving. I have tried flushing, and actually taking the themostat completely out. Still overheats. There seems to be some resistance in the fan clutch so I think thats ok. There is no coolant loss or coolant in the oil. Car has high mileage but still seems to run good. Could it possibly be the timing or catalytic converter?

I believe your problem is a partially clogged radiator.

Taking the thermostat out is not going to help solve the problem. In fact it would aggravate the problem during low speed driving.
