1995 Infiniti J30 Car Starts Seconds Dies While Running Idles Very Rough

My car starts for a few seconds then dies. While it is running it idles very rough and doesn't exceed 1k rpm. If I press the accelerator, it dies immediately. I have changed the fuel pump. Disconnecting/reconnecting the MAF sensor has no effect. Before this happened, I had 2 occasions where it died in traffic.( once, while turning, once while pulling a hill). What else could be causing this?

Is the Malfunction Indicator Light showing and did you check for trouble codes?
