My civic is stock 4 dr 1.5L and a stick shift. one day i heard a clicking noise and suddenly turned off. been at the shop for 2 weeks when the mechanic tells me the car does not get any compression. My question is will a vtec head D16Z6 get it back running again?

Try a new main relay under the dash on the driver's side.
