My cars oil lights is coming on however the cars oil level is in safe operating range but it still makes a knocking noise as if there is no oil in it

The "Oil" warning light refers to oil pressure, not level. If there's already a knocking noise coming from the engine, the damage to the bearings has already taken place. Low oil pressure will result in destroyed bearings, but based on the mileage you listed, it's just as likely the bearings are worn, which will CAUSE low oil pressure.
