1995 GMC Sierra eliminate oil cooler

I want to put oil filter directly on block. And eliminate oil cooler housing. What all do I need to do that and how
or can it be done. I plugged off the lines and now the housing is leaking.
its 4x4 extended cab. I don't tow with it so I want to get rid of it.

You need to get an adapter that screws into the block so it will let oil filter screw on. It may already be on the cooler adapter but its' been so long I forgot. They should be available at auto parts. If not a junk yard for sure they are all the same so it can come form a car/truck anything with a 5.0 or 5.7L engine.
