how to repair axel in the transfercase

the axel has slid out of transfercase

There is no axle in the transfer case. Are you referring to the drive shaft? Front one or rear one? Or are you referring to a rear axle shaft coming out of the housing?

Check if the C-clip is locking in place on transfer case side-also inspect all the U-Joints
