I have a 1995 GMC Jimmy SLE with a power steering leak. Does anyone know whether there is a consistent problem with the high pressure hose, the power steering pump or steering gear box? Thanks!

The only thing that's common is they eat ball joints. For a steering leak you just have to look for where the leak is coming from. The most likely cause would the pressure hose near the joint between the metal pipe and rubber hose.
