GMC Oil Pump

I am presently installing a "new"
Longblock into my 1995 GMC Jimmy.
I heard on one forum that it may good
to install a higher volume Oil Pump for the 4.3 L V6 Vortek engine.
Could you please make a suggestion to this regard ?

Hi, Thank you for using. I would recommend going with a GM factory oil pump unless its for a modified application where you would need the higher volume. Go with the stock original pump and take advantage of the millions already spent in R&D by GM.
