I have a 1995 GMC Jimmy. It has 147,000 miles on it. One problem with it. It does not engage in 4 high or 4 low. Not sure what to check. Could it be that the vacuum actuator is bad? Thanks for your help!

Then you need to check for vacuum leaks to the front differential. When you shift to 4wd, vacuum is sent to the front axle to engage it.
