I have a 95 gmc dully that cranks up fine, will run about two miles and shut down. if i wait about thirty to forty-five minute will crank again and repeat same patten.

what motor is it? check for spark when this happens if you can.sounds like something in ignition system is cutting out. and do you hear fuel pump humm for a few sec when you turn key to on?
