A/C blowing heater hot air

I have a 95 GMC Sierra Z-71 I turn the a/c on and it's like I have the heat on. The system is full of freon and it's even hot when it's off any ideas?

Does the temp slider feel like its moving the temp blend door?Does the temp change when moving the temp adjustment from cold to hot and hot to cold?

I can hear the damper open and close when I turn it from cold to hot

And no the temp doesn't change

So does it actually feel like the heat is on all the time being that hot?Or is it just warm air?

It was the blend valve actuator it wasn't closing all the way but thanks for the help

Thats what i thought it was since the temp never changed from the heater to cooler air.Glad to hear you got it figured i didnt get my email alerts you responded back till just this morning.
