Gas tank keeps cracking in the same spot.

I have a 95 geo prism. The gas tank keeps cracking in the dame spot on the right hand side. We have replaced the tank 3 times and have replaced the cap and fuel lines. What could cause the tank to keep cracking?

Most likely the straps are too tight.
