Why wont my passenger side door open on the inside of my 1995 Ford Thunderbird is there a child lock or what i am so confused.

i don't think they used child locks on this model. You need to remove the door panel and check to see if the linkage is broken or disconnected.

ok and another thing how reliable is the ford thunderbirds because i have never owned one before .
