My Ford Taurus overdrive is not working it will go into first and second but nothing else. I don't have any engine codes om my car. This is never happened to me before what could it be.

Probably time for a rebuild on it as you didn't enter miles and that is a tipoff also due to age. Have a trans guy check it.

Atake it back to whoever rebuilt it they may have not done something right or it may be a valve body problem.
