Transmission has no gears forward or reverse. I disconnected the battery for about 5 mins. Reconnected battery had all gears til the Probe got to operating Temp. Then had no gears forward or reverse. The fluid is full, and also the O/D light flashes. Please Help.

The first thing I would do is read the codes with a scan tool that a your best bet. They also have a flash box to retrieve codes. You could have a electrical component failing or a internal component seal etc. Reading the codes would be a good starting point. Then depending on what we find we may have to do a transmission pressure test.

Went to start my Probe this AM had all gears for a couple of mins. I went from Drive to Reverse a couple of times then Nothing. No Gears at all. Still has Fluid, do you think the transmission linkage Pin is Slipping? Should I replace it. Thanks for your Time. David

Thats easy to check have someone shift it while you watch the linkage. Sounds more like a internal failure or electrical component because you mentioned temp makes the gears inop. Thats why I suggested checking codes first.
