If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned. IF the starter isn't turning the engine fast enough, check to make sure battery terminals and grounds are clean and tight. If it is turning fast enough, check fuel pump pressure and check for a good hot blue spark at the plugs. Directions for both checks are on our homepage under the DIY section.
