clutch oil?

lately i have to rev engine to 2500 to 3000 rpm to get first gear to move the car. was told to check clutch but dont know where or how....

you need a clutch replacement. the free play is the only check you can make without removing the trans to check the assembly. you should have about 1/2 inch play in the pedal before pressure is felt.
