We are trying to switch motors in a 1995 mustang . My son and I have a 1998 engine out of another mustang. Both engines are 3.8L v6. The problem is we have a EDIS6 on the 1995, and we cannot find that on the 1998. We are wondering if we need the EDIS or if the 98 has it somewhere else. I have read alittle on this. but I don't know if we need it, or we are going to half to rewire it. I am not that good of mechanic, but me and my son are trying to do this as a family project. We are changing computers and the wiring harness that is why I am asking this question? Please help. Signed; Stumped.

We only recommend direct fit parts. This is going to require rewiring.
