I put a new clutch in a 95 mustang and now when the car is running it won't go into gear. Now with clutch engaged and I try to put it in any forward gear it makes no noise but will not go into gear but when I try to put it in reverse it grinds. If I turn off the car and put it in first then start the car it will move but if the car is running I have to pull hard to get it out of gear, same with reverse. Any ideas?

Either the slave is bad or the throw-out bearing isn't installed properly. Double check your work. Make sure the shaft is moving on the slave to move the throw-out bearing fork.
