Can a 4r55e transmisiion from a 95 ford explorer transmission be replaced with a 5r55e transmission from a 98 ford explorer? Do they have the same bolt pattern and are they compatible electronically

I wAs not sure, but a Ford tech I know says no, as the electronics are not compatibly, maybe check with a dealer to confirm this, I can't see any reference to compatibility on line.
