I have replaced the power steering pump and hoses that were attached to a 1995 Ford Explorer. Why is there poer steering fluid dripping next to the front wheel on drivers side?

It could be it needs to be tightened a bit more. Or the steering gearbox is excessively worn.

On some hoses there are teeny-tiny "O" rings, if they get pinched or ride off of their slot (whatever) You will have a leak.......usually it is damaged and there is nothing you can do, except get a new one....then be real careful, next go 'round!
