My hazard lights are stuck in the on position. It does not matter whether the switch is on or off. My question would be: Where would the first place you look?

I believe I would investigate the switch as being faulty.--The Medic

The first time it happened the car was running. I pulled the fuse. I put the fuse back in the car was off and the hazards came on.

Got one more thing to throw at you---Vehicle OFF--Disconnect the battery for maybe.10 minutes, then reconnect and see if it goes away. Return with good news.--The Medic

Roger.2:14 AM here, headed for bed myself. If only the '98 Ford Taurus feller would respond, I might could give him a less expensive resource to get him repaired.I hope the Battery deal fixes you. Good thing is, you are still mobile, and it's not illegal to drive with the hazards on!---The Medic
