First unplug the negative cable and put it to the side so that you dont get shocked, you'll need to safely jack your car up in the front of it. And undo the red cable that connects to the starter and alternator. Then pull it from the top, and disconnect it from the battery, connect the new red cable to the positive terminal on the batter and weave it thru the same path as the old one to the starter and hook it back up to the starter. Take your negative cable (easier) and replace with the new one, the black cable is very simple to do
