Have your mechanic connect a scanner that lets him watch the wheel speeds as you drive, then watch for one that disagrees with the others. One thing that Ford has had some problems with is during other service work, some spark plug wires are moved from their original routing. The magnetic field created around the wires induces pulses in the wheel speed sensor wiring which confuses the computer. It can even cause the ABS to activate while the vehicle is standing still because the errant pulses make it look like one wheel, (and the vehicle), is still moving but the other wheels are locked up. As I recall, it's the right front wheel that is affected.
