My Uno cannot start and I went to a local repair man and he tells me that one of the fuel pump does not work. Surprisingly when I had gone to Bloemfontein and asked an agent he told me that Uno has only one fuel pump. What happens is it starts but after a few seconds just shuts down and wouldn't start again. I have bought a pump from Bloemfontein a year ago. Could it be that I should change the pump again or is it something else?I am a frustrated lady staying in Lesotho who has enjoyed driving this car but of late it frustrates me

The fuel pump should cycle when you first turn on the ignition then shut off until the engine starts, this is normal foe electronic in tank fuel pumps, I would be looking elsewhere for the no start problem, have they done a scan as yet.
