I have a 95 Spirit 3.0 v6 217k on it. It will start up and drive fine for a period of time(sometimes 2 hours sometimes 2 minutes). While running it idles fine. But when it does stall it will not turn over it will try and cranks but no start. Most times after it sits for a while, again that varrys sometimes 5 minutes sometimes an hour. Now Fuel filter is brand new, fuel pump works. Also no tune up dunno if that has anything to do with it. Please help me im at a complete lose.

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 away from ground-have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, Do you hear the fuel pump come On when you turn key on? If not check fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay if okay-check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, cap and rotor, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing

Their is a snapping blue spark at the distributor. Fuel pump turns on, and pumps(took fuel line off and turned key)also can hear it. Also how would I check the fuel pressure? Fuel Filter is brand new. Where is the pressure regulator?

Use a fuel pressure tester-it depends what type of fuel system you have for the FPR. You can just hook-it up where you disconnected the hose and attach there
