Correct name of the display unit

Hi i would like to know the name of the unit or display assembly that show digital lcd information of the navigation and comp temp, its located in front of the rear view mirror attach to roof and has dome lights in the unit also.Can this be repaired

That would the "mini-trip computer" and is part of the overhead console. What kind of problem are you having?
