I have a 95 dakota that is misfiring and losing power only while going down the road and only at lower RPMs. Checked fuel pressure and plugs and wires. All are fine. Perfect sound in park and neutral while revving with no power loss. What gives? Plugs and wires are good. Fuel pressure is good. Idles fine and revvs up fine in neutral and park. Loses power and misfires only traveling down the highway. Truck runs fine as long as rapid acceleration is present. What gives?

Missfires can come from low compression, plugs, coils, injector failure, vacuum leaks and lastly a bad pcm. I would start with basics and go with compression and move forward.
