There is a loud thudding sound under the front of my 1995 Dodge Caravan- especially the right front-when going over rough surfaces. What is the most likely problem? Wheel bearings? Suspension issue? Frame?

Thanks!

There is no way to tell over a computer. Someone is going to have to perform an inspection. A tire and alignment shop is the best place to go. Some possibilities include a deteriorated outer anti-sway bar bushing, a sloppy strut or rusted upper strut mount. Those are not serious. A worn ball joint can cause a knocking noise that you don't want to neglect. If it separates, the bottom of the wheel will flop out and you'll lose control. Loose brake pads or calipers will cause a metallic clunking sound that will stop when you hold light pressure on the brake pedal.
