thermostatic air cleaner

I was told at my current smog check that my 1995 g30 350 tbi
van is missing its thermostatic air cleaner which I know cant be
true since I've owned it since new. But is there a diagram or picture
I can see to know what im after

if you had a thermostatic valve in your air cleaner which you don't ther ewould be a vacuum line going to teh snout of hte air cleaner. here is a vacuum diagram of your engine which clelarly doens't show this.
