I am also having a problem with my 95 Chevy 1500. A previous person you replied to was having the same problem
I have a 95 Chevy Z71 off road pickup. It will go into 4 wheel drive when moving but will not come out unless I stop and back up.

First, make sure the actuator on the transfer case isn't shorting. Check it to make sure the wiring in the plug is in good condition. As far as the vibration, check u-joints.
