my turn signal fuse is blowing when I shift into reverse

I have a 1995 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup ext c 1/2t 4X with an automatic transmission. When I shift into reverse, the fuse for the turn signal blows. I have checked for bare wires with no success.

there is a torque converter clutch/brake switch on the pedal bracket
you may have a bad torque converter causing the problem. have trans guy look at it
