Hi I purchased a 95 2 door tahoe. It has a steering issue I'm having trouble diagnosing. I think it's my steering pitman arm. The steering wheel has a lot of play in it and leaks power steering fluid. Steering wheel shakes. I tried to take best pic I could. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

It's hard to tell from the pics. Can you tell where the leak is located? As far as the play, have you checked all steering components for excessive play?

The leak appears to be coming from the void where a gasket would be. The second picture is the passenger side where no leak and gasket present. The first and fifth picture there is no gasket on the driver side and appears to be leaking from there.

From what I can see, the 1st picture is that of the steering gear. There should be a seal recessed into the housing. If none of the steering components are loose, chances are the gear is the issue. Have you checked that for excessive play? As far as the 2nd picture, that looks like the pitman arm which doesn't contain PS fluid, so it wouldn't leak. Your problem appears to be the steering gear itself.
