1995 Chevrolet Silverado Changing Out Motor Disconnect Ignition Control System

Am changing out the motor and it says to disconnect the Ignition Control system to set the timing and I cannot find the black and tan wire that it says in the book to disconnect. Have looked in the wiring harness below the heater case as it says and still can't find the wire. Help!!!!

ok, you can jump the aldl connector inside the truck to get base timing. the upper 2 connectors to the right, same as checking codes
