I just got to Walmart and turned the key off and forgot to roll my window up. So I put the key in the ignition and turned it to roll up my window and a crackling and rubbing grinding noise started coming from eat her behind or under the glove box and continues after I start the car. I am worried about driving home not knowing what will happen. What is my car doing or why.

Without hearing the sound it's hard to tell you anything although there are a number of things you could have heard. It could have been leaves or paper caught in the blower fan or it could have been one of the air door actuators with stripped plastic gears. If the noise was accompanied with any burning smells I would be concerned about driving it but otherwise it should be safe.
