1995 Chevrolet Impala Fuel problems????

My car barely wanna start unless I push the gas it drives rough n don't have any power when I floor it, it also accelerate slow when I push the gas I had got a fuel pump but that only worked for about 3 months got new spark plugs and wires a new distributor cap switched to better gas. One mechanic said that's the gas is not flowing through that's why it idles or turn off sometimes

scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge first. auto parts rent it.
