1995 Chevrolet Cheyenne what transmission will work?

I have a 95 Chevrolet cheyenne 1500 4x4 with a rebuilt 5.7 carb 350 in it. It came factory with a 5 speed in It, well I have taken out the transmission and transfer case and now wanting to make it an automatic 4x4. What years and models are interchangeable to this truck and motor?

A 95 shold have fuel injection. Originally they came with a 4L60e but you don't have a computer to run it as yours has been removed. You might be able to put a 350 or 400 in it but you'll have tommake sure you can mount it up correctly to trans at cross member.A 700R4 may fit but it would need to be an early one and those aren't the most reliable.
