1995 Chevrolet Cheyenne Truck Started Replaced Battery Key Disconected

Truck started when I replaced battery with no key in it. I disconected the ignition switch and the saftey switch dose the same when conecting battery again plz help

check the start motor wiring. it may be mis routed and touching another wire causing this problem. other than that, the starter may be bad.
