We have tried a lot of things . At first it would work in 1 & 2 gear. And now it will not go at all. Only in reverse.

check trans fluid for being full then take to a trans guy probably time for a rebuild.

Does the reverse lights work? If not the gear range sensor could be bad and not telling the PCM the transmission is in gear. Here is the location of the sensor which some call the neutral safety switch. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
