1995 Chevrolet Blazer Grinding when brakes are applied

I had the brakes replaced on my blazer a few months ago but now when I apply my brakes I fill grinding and hear grinding also I was told it's the front end what should I do about this is it dangerous to drive like this it feals like to me it's in the front will this be exspensive to fix and how long should I wait to get it fixed not sure if its brakes because my brake pads are new please help Thank you Brenda

Have the shop which repaired your brake a few months ago recheck them now to see if they are indeed worn to the point of grinding or if there is some other problem. You need to have this done quickly, driving with bad brakes can be dangerous. Let me know what they find.

The brakes are new would they already be bad I was told it could be the brake caliber dragging or stuck I think I don't quite understand all of it what do you think? Brenda

I don't think the brake pads are worn out already unless the caliper piston is sticking. However the shop would be able to visually inspect the brakes and tell you what's happening. Remember the problem could be something that is out of "adjustment" or misaligned and therefore causing the noise. Only a visual inspection can determine this.
