My friend replaced the upper and lower intake gaskets, now that it's assembled engine won't turn over

When grabbing the flywheel we can get a partial revolution then the motor binds?? NO parts left over and ALL tools accounted for! What could be the possibility's???

Try turning it from the crankshaft pulley-Kind of weird just replacing the upper/lower intake gaskets causing the engine to bind/seized
