1995 Buick Skylark Engine Quad 2 3l Turns Won T Start Key Run Only Light On

Engine (quad 2.3L) turns but won't start. With key in run, the only light on is the "battery volt" light and it stays on. Owner's manual says it should go away within seconds. Don't see any defective fuses. I don't hear the fuel pump whine either. Does it sound expensive to repair?

if there is no check engine light, it may be a failed computer. verify powers and grounds
